Along with this vision there were some indications that presaged my victory. I related this vision immediately to those present—one of whom was Khw a jah Jam a l-ud-D i n, Inspector of Schools, Jammu and Kashmir, and there were many others. Thereafter the Hind u Ta hsi ld a r was suddenly transferred and his place was taken by Miy a ń T a j-ud-D i n as Ta hsi ld a r of Batala. He made an honest inquiry and sent his report to Mr. Dixon, Deputy Commissioner Gurd a spur. By a happy co-incidence, he too was an intelligent and just official. He recorded an order to the effect that: Mirza Ghulam Ahmad is the head of a well-known sect and I do not have any doubt about his integrity. . .
