A PPENDIX 1099 [Letter of P i r Sir a jul- H aqq Nu‘m a n i ra ; al-Bushr a , compiled by P i r Sir a jul- H aqq ra , p. 64] (29) On one occasion the Promised Messiah as narrated the revelation: [Punjabi] Patti 1301 has been uprooted. [Letter of P i r Sir a jul- H aqq Nu‘m a n i ra ; al-Bushr a , compiled by P i r Sir a jul- H aqq ra , p. 81] (30) (A) The Promised Messiah as recited the verse: 1302 Then the Promised Messiah as said: ‘The reference in this verse is to companions of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who surrounded him in all times of peace and war, not to angels. This verse has also been revealed to me. ’ [Letter of Sahibz a dah P i r Sir a jul- H aqq ra ] (30) (B) Sheikh Muhammad Ism a ‘ i l Sars a w i narrates: The Promised Messiah as said: ‘. . . The verse of the Holy Qur’an in which God Almighty revealed to the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that: ‘We will appoint angels in front of you and behind you, and on your left and your right’, has also been 1301 Patti—a city about 1500 years old located at the intersection of Beas and Satluj—was the headquarters of a Mughal royal family.
