(American Edition) 27 “Allāh has decreed: ‘Most surely I will prevail, I and My Messengers. ’ Verily, Allāh is Powerful, Mighty. ” (58 [Al- Mujādila h]: 22) َ َ و َ لَو ۡ تَقَوَل َ عَل ۙ یۡنَا بَعۡض ۡلَۡقَاوِیۡل ِ ﴿ َ ا ۡلََخ ۙ ﴾ ِّیِۡ ﴿ ذۡنَا مِنۡہ ُبِالۡیَم ﴾ َ ۫ۖثُم َ لَقَطَعۡن ِّیَۡ ﴿ ِ ا مِنۡہ ُالۡوَت ﴾فَمَا مِنۡکُمۡم ن ۡ اَحَد ٍ عَنۡہ ُ حی جِزِیۡن َ ﴿ ﴾ “And if he had forged and attributed any sayings to Us, We would surely have seized him by the right hand, And then surely We would have severed his life-artery, And not one of you could have held Us off from him. ” (69 [Al- Ḥā qqah]: 45-48) ِ و َ الۡفَتۡح ُ ۙ﴿﴾ ّلل ی اِذَا ج َٓاء َنَصۡر ُ ا ِ اَفۡوَاجًا ۙ﴿﴾ ّلل ی َ ِفِۡدِیۡن ِ ا و َ رَاَیۡت َ النَاس َ یَدۡخُلُوۡن ۡ فَسَبِح ﴿﴾ ٪ ُؕۖ اِنَہ ٗ کَان َتَوَابًا بِحَمۡد ِ رَبِک َ و َ اسۡتَغۡفِرۡہ “When the help of Allāh comes, and the victory, And thou seest men entering the religion of Allāh in troops, Glorify thy Lord, with His praise, and seek forgiveness of Him. Surely He is Oft- Returning with compassion. ” (110[Al -Na ṣ r]:2-4) These verses clearly show that an imposter’s mission can never succeed. If Ḥ a ḍrat Mirzā G hul ā m A ḥ mad was a false claimant, w hy did not Allāh nip his community in the bud and instead allow it to flourish? More than 80 million people joined A ḥmadiyya Muslim Jamā‘at in 2000 -01 alone! Signs of the Coming of the Mahdī The following verse of the Holy Qur’ān mentions an eclipse of the sun and moon that was to occur in the latter days: َ و َ خَسَف َ الۡقَمَر ُ ۙ﴿﴾و َ جُمِع الشَمۡس ُ و َ الۡقَمَر ُ ۙ﴿﴾ “And the moon is eclipsed. And the sun and the moon are brought together. ” (75[Al -Qiy ā mah]:9-10) The Ḥadīth below is an explanation of this verse: ِ ََیِْ لَم ْ تَکُو َْنَ مُنْذ ُ خَلْق ِ السَّمہوات َِضَِ ہللا ُ عَنْہ ُ قَال َ اِن َّ لِمَھْدِیْنَا آیَت ْ عَن ْ مُحَمَّدِبْن ِ عَل ٍِِّ ر ُ ِفِْ النٍِّصْف ِ مِنْہ ٗ وَلَم ُ وَالَْرْض ِ یَنْکَسِف ُ الْقَمَر ُ لَِوَّل ِ لَيْلَۃ ٍ مِن ْ رَمَضَان َ و َ یَنْکَسِف ُ الشَّمْس َ تَکُو َْنَ م نْذ ُ خَلَق َ ہللا ُ السَّمہوہ ات ِ وَالَْرْض
