(American Edition) 14 PART TWO Declaration o f Initiation (Pledge of Allegiance to A ḥ m adiyya Khilāfat) Following is the text of the declaration to join the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. To Ḥ a ḍ rat Khalīfatul - Masī ḥ V As - S alāmu ‘Alaikum Wa Ra ḥ matullāhi Wa Barakātuhū I hereby submit my declaration of initiation duly completed and signed. Please accept me into th e fold of the A ḥ madiyya Muslim Jamā‘at and pray for me. أَشْھَد ُ أَن ْ لَّا اِلٰہ َ اِلَّا الل ُ ہ وَحْدَہ ٗ لَا شَرِیک َ لَہ ٗ وَأَشْھَد ُ أَن َّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُہ ٗ و َ رَسُوْلُہٗ. أَشْھَد ُ أَن ْ لَّا اِلٰہ َ اِلَّا الل ُ ہ ْ وَحْدَہ ٗ لَا شَرِیک َ لَہ ٗ وَأَش ھَد ُ أَن َّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُہ ٗ و َ رَسُوْلُہٗ. أَشْھَد ُ أَن ْ لَّا اِلٰہ َ اِلَّا الل ُ ہ ُ وَحْدَہ ٗ لَا شَرِیک َ لَہ ٗ وَأَشْھَد أَن َّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُہ ٗ و َ رَسُوْلُہٗ. “I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allāh. He is One and has no partner, and I bear witness that Mu ḥ ammad is His Messenger. ” I enter this day the A ḥ madiyya Jamā‘at in Islām at the hand of Masroor A ḥ mad. I have firm faith that Ḥ a ḍ rat Mu ḥ ammad Rasūlullāh (may peace and blessing of Allāh be on him) is Kh ā tam u n - Nabiyyīn, the Seal of all the Prophets. I also believe that Ḥ a ḍ rat Mirzā Ghulām A ḥ mad (may peace be upon him) was the same Imām Mahdī and Promised Messiah whose advent was prophesied by Ḥ a ḍ rat Mu ḥ ammad (may peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him). I pr omise that I will always try my best to abide by the ten conditions of Bai‘at (initiation) as prescribed by the Promised Messiah. I will give precedence to my faith over all worldly objects. I will always remain loyal to the institution of Khilāfat in A ḥ ma diyyat; and will obey you as Khalīfatul - Masī ḥ in everything good that you may require of me, In Shā Allāh. َ اَسْتَغْفِر ُ اللہ ُ رَبِّی ْ مِن ْ کُل ِّ ذَنْب ٍ و َّ اَتُوْب َ اِلَیْہ ِ. اَسْتَغْفِر ُ اللہ ُ رَبِّی ْ مِن ْ کُل ِّ ذَنْب ٍ و َّ اَتُوْب َ اِلَیْہ ِ. َ ا سْتَغْفِر ُ اللہ ْ رَبِّی ُ مِن ْ کُل ِّ ذَنْب ٍ و َّ اَتُوْب اِلَیْہ ِ.
