(American Edition) 56 unto you the clear Signs of Allāh, that he may bring those who believe and do good deeds out of every kind of darkness into light. And whoso be lieves in Allāh and does good deeds— He will make him enter Gardens, through which rivers flow, to abide therein forever. Allāh has indeed made excellent provision for him. ” (65[Al- Ṭ al ā q]:11-12) A ḥ ādīth on the Death o f Jesus (1) Ibn ‘Abbās said: َ مُتَوَفٍِّيْک َ مُمِيْتُک “Mutawaffī ka, that is, I will cause you to die. ” (Bukhārī, Kitābut - Tafsīr, Sūrah Al - Māi’dah, under Fa -Lamm ā tawaffaitan ī ) (2) The following two A ḥādīth show that the Messiah of the latter days is not the same as the Messiah of Moses since the description of their physical appearance differs. From Sunnah below ِ ِسَ فَأ َُحَْر ُ جَعْد ٌ عَرِیض ُ الصَّدْر ِسَ وَمُوس َ وَاِبْرَاهِميَ، فَأَمَّا عِی رَأَیْت ُ عِی ٌ ََنَ َنَِْنٌْ اَطُوْف ُ َبِلْکَعْبَۃ ِ فَاِذْارَجُل بَیْنَمَا ا ُ. . . ِبْط ِ س الشَّعْر َ. . . فَقْلُت ُ مَن ْ ھہذ َْیََ ا قَالُوْا ابْن ُ مَر “I saw Jesus, Moses and Abraham, Jesus was of red complexion and had curly hair and broad shoulders. ” “While I was sleeping I saw that I was performing a circuit of the Ka‘bah. It was a man of brown ish color and straight hair. So I enquired who he was.
