44 for them as well. She said that the quantity of rice was very small; it could not suffice for all. Hearing this, the Promised Messiah as approached the cooking pot, said some prayers, blew over it, and said to her, ‘Now serve the food in the name of Allah. ’ It was reported that the rice was so extra-ordinarily blessed that Nawwab Sahib’s family ate to their fill. Some of it was sent to the family of Hazrat Maulana Noor-ud-Din ra too. As it soon became known as the ‘Blessed Rice’, many others came in order to obtain a share of it; and everyone who came was given a portion of it.
