It was in 1992 that our special efforts increased the contributions from $90,000. 00 to $900,000. 00 and the contribution'> of the Ahmadiyya Mu slim Community USA exceeded the col l ectiom of the en ti re world. Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih IV (ABA), eva lu ating the progress of the USA Ahmadiyya Community in a global context, in his Friday Sermon of 9 February 1993, said : "Now, remember this we ll that the tot al collection from the whole wo rl d is one million, ninety-four thousand three hundred and sixty-one pounds st er ling. In this is included the receipt from America of five hundred and sixty-four thousand o ne hundred and \ixty-one pounds !> terling. Thal is to say it has C\C eeded the entire world in the co ll ection of this chanda on its ow n. Last year I was praising that they (USA) had defeated Germany and even gone ahead of Paki'>tan, but the race was st ill a close one. Now they have left everyone \O far behind that the rest wil l just have to pray for them and can do nothing more than this. And the situatio n of America itself is such that just ten years ago, that is to say just two or almo-. t three years after my migration to London from Pakic,tan. their total chanda was about th is amount. Now their Waqf-e-Jadid budget alone has become $936,800 and they have collected their data so accurately that they ha ve included with this number 30 cents also!
