and conviction that Allah has power over all things, the power to encompass all things. Only then shall your prayer be accepted, and you would witness wondrous manifestations of the power of God, even such as we have seen ourselves. " (Kishti Nuh). It is to be borne in mind, moreover, that this exception, where a previous promise of Allah is concerned, or where it is a question of His sunnat, does not in fact involve any imposition of limits on the powers of the Almighty God: for, as taught by Islam and Ahmadiyyat, those powers are, really and most truly, absolutely without limit or bounds, which one can comprehend or exhaust in enumeration. Such exceptions are therefore intended to do no more than remove a possible objection of contradiction, which cannot in any case be taken as, in the least, likely from God. . . that in His word. He should lay down something as His sunnat, then proceed to do something no 57
