21 truth. Only recently, two astonishing and powerful prophecies have been fulfilled, one pertaining to Mesopotamia and the other regarding the abdication of the Russian Tsar. I will deal with the former in a separate publication. In the current essay, it is this latter prophecy which I intend to set out before the world so that Allah the Exalted may enable pious souls to benefit from it. As I have already mentioned the Promised Messiah as wrote a prophecy about the present war in an Urdu poem which included the following two lines: ےگ اس وخف ےس س ب نج و اسن ی ئ لحمضم وہاج� زار یھب وہ اگ وت وہاگ اس ڑھگی �بااحل زار That is: ‘Men high and low will be convulsed with fear and the Tsar himself will, at that hour, be in sad case. ’ This prophecy was recorded on 15 April 1905, in Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya Part V. 20 However, as can be seen from a supplementary note, for various reasons the book was not published until 1908.
