Fourteenth [Prophecy] 79 He indicates that these plans will not be successful and I will be safeguarded against their mischiefs. Then, further ahead in this same ilh a m —the ilh a m that is given on page 557 1 —makes clear when this would happen and what the indication would be of that day. That is to say, when and at what time such plans would be made for carrying out the killing, and what matters must be manifested before this. I shall demonstrate My light. I shall raise you with a demonstration of My power (this is the explanation of ی رافعك ال ی رافعك ال —[ r a fi‘uka ilayya 2 ]). A Warner came unto the world, but the world accepted him not; yet God shall accept him and demonstrate his truthfulness with mighty assaults. Allah the Exalted has stated in clear terms within this ilh a m that the time of the machinations to assassinate would be when a bright Sign would be made manifest in the form of an attack. 1.
