CORRESPONDENCE WITH HADRAT KHAWAJAH GHULĀM FARĪD کز دو دستش این ریاض و این بناست من چه چیزم جنگ شان با آن خداست I am but nothing—their fight is really with God, Whose Own Two Hands have prepared this orchard and this palace. اوستاده از پی پیکار حق هر که آویزد به کار و بار حق Anyone who interferes with the works of God, In reality, stands up to do battle with Him. فانی ایم و تیر ما تیر حق صید ما دراصل نخچیر حق است است I am mortal, and my arrow is God's arrow, And my prey is, in reality, God's prey. دست حق در آستین او نهان صادقی دارد پناه آن یگان The truthful one is under the protection of the One God, And the Hand of God is hidden under his sleeve. بیخ خود کندد چو شیطان لعین هر که با دست خدا پیچد ز کین He who battles against God out of enmity, Uproots himself like the accursed Satan. کار او از دست موسی برهم است ای بسا نفسی که همچو بلعم است Many people are like Balam, Whose designs are demolished by the hands of Moses. با من آمد صد نشان لطف یار آمدم بر وقت چون ابر بهار I have come at the right time, akin to the rain of spring, And I have with me hundreds of Signs of God's benevolence. 209
