CORRESPONDENCE WITH HADRAT KHAWAJAH GHULAM FARĪD و از حجاب سرکشی ها دور شد نور را داند کسی کو نور شد Only he can understand the Light [of God], who himself has become enlightened, And who has become distant from the veils of rebelliousness. بی گمان از نور قرآن غافل اند این همه کوران که تکفیرم کنند All those blind people who are calling me a kāfir, Are most certainly unaware of the Light of the Quran, هرزه گویان ناقصان و ناتمام بی خبر از رازهای این کلام And are unfamiliar with the verities of this Word of God. They speak absurdities, and are defective and immature. در سرشان عقل دور اندیش نیست در کف شان استخوانی بیش نیست They have only bare bones in their hands, And they lack the intelligence needed for farsightedness. بی نصیب از عشق و از دلدار هم مرده اند و فهم شان مردار هم They are dead themselves, and their understanding is also dead; They are deprived of both love and the Beloved. او انیس خاطر غمگین ماست الغرض فرقان مدار دین ماست In essence, the Furqān [Discrimination-Quran] is the foun- dation of my faith, It gives comfort to my melancholy heart. 201
