142 THE SHINING LAMP comprises¹ the date of the consecration of this mosque, and more- over contains a prophecy for future blessings for which the foun- dation has now been laid. THIRTY-FOURTH PROPHECY This prophecy is written on page 521 of Barāhīn-e-Ahmadiyya² and is as follows: وہ تجھے بہت برکت دے گا یہاں تک کہ بادشاہ تیرے کپڑوں سے برکت ڈھونڈیں گے۔ 'He will bless you greatly, so much so that kings will seek blessings from your garments. ' There is also a vision related to this in which I saw that the earth addressed me and said: يَا وَلِيَّ اللَّهِ كُنْتُ لَا أَعْرِفُكَ Meaning: O friend of God; I had not recognized you. 1. In the Arabic abjad system each letter in the alphabet corresponds to a numerical value. Using this system, the date of the founding of the mosque, year 1300 of the Hijrah calendar, equals the sum of the numer- ical values of each Arabic letter used in the sentence. [Publisher] 2.
