The Miraculous Qasidah 79 َا مَعْشَر َ الْعِدَا ی ِ َاَلَ تُبْشِرُوْا بِالنَّقْل ف َا مَعْشَر َ الْعِدَا ی ِ َاَلَ تُبْشِرُوْا بِالنَّقْل ُف ن ْ نُّقُوْل ٍ قَد ْ فَرَاھَا مُسَحِّر ِّ ُوَکَم ْ م ن ْ نُّقُوْل ٍ قَد ْ فَرَاھَا مُسَحِّر ِّ وَکَم ْ م Therefore, O my opponents! Let not mere historical traditions please you; There are many traditions and sayings that have been fabricated by the fabricators. ْحَاء ِ رَبِّنَا ی ِ ھَل ِ النَّقْل ُ شَيْء ٌ بَعْد َ إ ْحَاء ِ رَبِّنَا ی ِ ُھَل ِ النَّقْل ُ شَيْء ٌ بَعْد َ إ ر یَّ َ ُ نَتَخ ٍ بَعْدَه ْث ی ِحَد َّ ُفَأَي ر یَّ َ ُ نَتَخ ٍ بَعْدَه ْث ی ِحَد َّ فَأَي Moreover, of what significance are traditional records in light of rev- elation from God? Which hadith shall we believe over Divine revelation? ٍ َّ مُمَزَّق ُ کُل َخْبَار ْأ اْل َ ا ْ مُزِّق قَد َ و ٍ َّ مُمَزَّق ُ کُل َخْبَار ْأ اْل َ ا ْ مُزِّق قَد َ ُو َسَتَبْشِر ی ُ ْ عِنْدَه ھُو ٌّ بِمَا ُفَکُل َسَتَبْشِر ی ُ ْ عِنْدَه ھُو ٌّ بِمَا فَکُل The a ha d i th are scattered; Each sect is pleased with their own assortment of traditions. ٌ ٌّ مُّنَقَّح ٌ قَوِي َ بُرْھَان أَعِنْدَك ٌ ٌّ مُّنَقَّح ٌ قَوِي َ بُرْھَان ُ أَعِنْدَك ْخ ٍ عَاب َ أَو ْ أَنْت َ تَهْذِر ی ُ عَلٰی فَضْل ِ شَ ْخ ٍ عَاب َ أَو ْ أَنْت َ تَهْذِر ی عَلٰی فَضْل ِ شَ Do you have an argument to prove the erudition of Muhammad Husain, Who finds faults with my writings, or are you uttering mere absurdities? ْنًا مُّحَقِّقًا ی َ أَتَحْسَب ُ مِن ْ حُمْق ٍ حُس ْنًا مُّحَقِّقًا ی َ ُأَتَحْسَب ُ مِن ْ حُمْق ٍ حُس ٌ مُّکَدَّر مَاء َّ ٌٔ و ِ حَمَا ْ کَفِّه فِي َ ُو ٌ مُّکَدَّر مَاء َّ ٌٔ و ِ حَمَا ْ کَفِّه فِي َ و Do you, out of your stupidity, consider Muhammad Husain to be a learned man, While his hands are soiled with grime and filthy water? ُ ْتَه ی رَأَ ٍ مَّا ْ نَّازِل ْ مِن أَتُخْبِرُنِي ُ ْتَه ی رَأَ ٍ مَّا ْ نَّازِل ْ مِن ُأَتُخْبِرُنِي التَّغَیُّر دَفَاھَا ُ أَخْبَارًا تَذْکُر َ ُو التَّغَیُّر دَفَاھَا ُ أَخْبَارًا تَذْکُر َ و Do you tell me about the one you think has descended [from Heaven], while you have not seen him personally? And, do you quote to me traditions that have been ruined by interpolation?
