An Ode in Praise of God Almighty and the Best of Mankind 37 ْ یَا مَلْجَأِي ْ أَدْرِك ْ فَإِنَّك َ مَوْئِـلِي ْ ِیَا مَلْجَأِي ْ أَدْرِك ْ فَإِنَّك َ مَوْئِـلِي ِیَا کَھْفِي اِعْصِمْنِي ْ مِن َ الشَّغْبَاء یَا کَھْفِي اِعْصِمْنِي ْ مِن َ الشَّغْبَاء O my Protector! Pray take care of me, as You alone are my shield; O my protective-haven! Protect me from the (disorderly) uproar (of the those who are malicious). ْ یَا رَب ِّ أَیِّدْنِي ْ بِفَضْلِك َ و َ انْتَقِم ْ ِیَا رَب ِّ أَیِّدْنِي ْ بِفَضْلِك َ و َ انْتَقِم ِمِمَّن ْ یَدُس ُّ الدِّیْن َ تَحْت َ عَفَاء مِمَّن ْ یَدُس ُّ الدِّیْن َ تَحْت َ عَفَاء O Lord! Grant me help through Your grace; And take revenge from he who burys the Faith. َات ِ دِیْن ِ الْمُصْطَفٰی ک ِ َ یَعْلَمُوْن َ ن اْل َات ِ دِیْن ِ الْمُصْطَفٰی ک ِ َ یَعْلَمُوْن َ ن اْل ِ ِو َ تَھَالَکُوْا فِي بُخْلِھِم ْ و َ رِیَاء و َ تَھَالَکُوْا فِي بُخْلِھِم ْ و َ رِیَاء They do not know the excellences of the Faith of the Chosen Onesas; And they are embracing death due to their miserliness and hypocrisy. ْ دِیْنَهم ٌ اَضَاعُوْا ْ قَوْم یُؤْذُوْنَنِي ْ دِیْنَهم ٌ اَضَاعُوْا ْ قَوْم ِیُؤْذُوْنَنِي ُ ااْلْٰرَاء ِ مُظْلِم ُ الْمَقَاصِد ِنَجْس ُ ااْلْٰرَاء ِ مُظْلِم ُ الْمَقَاصِد نَجْس They offend and hurt me; they are a people who wasted their faith: Those with foul objectives, and impure ideas. ً َ یَخْشَی الرِّجَال ُ شَجَاعَۃ اْل َ خَشَّوْا و ً َ یَخْشَی الرِّجَال ُ شَجَاعَۃ اْل َ ِخَشَّوْا و َ الْھَیْجَاء ِ و ِ الدَّھْر نَائِبَات ِفِي َ الْھَیْجَاء ِ و ِ الدَّھْر نَائِبَات فِي They attempted to frighten me, but the Men of God, due to their courage, do not become frightened — In the face of the hardships and combats of the age. ٍ َ کَثَعْلَب ِ یُحَمْلِقُوْن ُ ااْلُْنَاس زَمَع ٍ َ کَثَعْلَب ِ یُحَمْلِقُوْن ُ ااْلُْنَاس ِزَمَع َ مُوَاء ٍ و ْ بِتَحَوُّب ِیُؤْذُوْنَنِي َ مُوَاء ٍ و ْ بِتَحَوُّب یُؤْذُوْنَنِي The malicious among the people stare at me like a fox; They cause me distress by uttering feline meows and vulpine howls.
