An Ode in Praise of God Almighty and the Best of Mankind ِ َء اْل اْلْٰ َ ب ِا َ الْخَلْق ْ أَحَاط مَن یَا ِ َء اْل اْلْٰ َ ب ِا َ الْخَلْق ْ أَحَاط مَن ِیَا ِنُثْنِي ْ عَلَیْك َ و َ لَیْس َ حَوْل ُ ثَـنَاء نُثْنِي ْ عَلَیْك َ و َ لَیْس َ حَوْل ُ ثَـنَاء O You, Who has enveloped creation with favours and rewards; We praise You while we lack the capacity to praise You. ٍ َ عُطُوْفَۃ ٍ و َّ بِرَحْمَۃ ْ اِلَي أُنْظُر ٍ َ عُطُوْفَۃ ٍ و َّ بِرَحْمَۃ ْ اِلَي ِأُنْظُر َ الْغَمَّاء ْ یَاکَاشِف مَلْجَأِي ِیَا َ الْغَمَّاء ْ یَاکَاشِف مَلْجَأِي یَا Look towards me with a glance of Your mercy and compassion, O You Who are my Protector; O You Who eradicates griefs. أَنْت َ الْم َاَلَذ ُ و َ أَنْت َ کَھْف ُ نُفُوْسِنَا ِأَنْت َ الْم َاَلَذ ُ و َ أَنْت َ کَھْف ُ نُفُوْسِنَا َ فَنَاء َ بَعْد و ِ الدُّنْیَا ھٰذِہ ِفِي َ فَنَاء َ بَعْد و ِ الدُّنْیَا ھٰذِہ فِي You are indeed the refuge, and You are indeed the sanctuary for us, In this world as well as (in the Hereafter) after we are no more. ً ِ مُصِیْبَۃ الظ َّـاَلَم فِي رَأَیْنَا اِنَّا ً ِ مُصِیْبَۃ الظ َّـاَلَم فِي رَأَیْنَا ِاِنَّا ِ ضِیَاء بِدَار ْ وَأَنْزِلْنَا ِفَارْحَم ِ ضِیَاء بِدَار ْ وَأَنْزِلْنَا فَارْحَم We have witnessed the calamity during darkness; So, have mercy on us, and make us disembark in the House of Divine-Light. ٍ تَعْفُوْا عَن ِ الذَّنْب ِ الْعَظِیْم ِ بِتَوْبَۃ ٍ ِتَعْفُوْا عَن ِ الذَّنْب ِ الْعَظِیْم ِ بِتَوْبَۃ ِتُنْجِي ْ رِقَاب َ النَّاس ِ مِن ْ اَعْبَاء تُنْجِي ْ رِقَاب َ النَّاس ِ مِن ْ اَعْبَاء You forgive colossal sins if there is repentance; You alone relieve the necks of people from heavy burdens.
