The Miraculous Qasidah 109 مَا کُنْت ُ بِالصَّمْت ِ الْمُخَجِّل ِ رَاضِیًا َ و مَا کُنْت ُ بِالصَّمْت ِ الْمُخَجِّل ِ رَاضِیًا َ ُ و َتَبَصَّر ی ْ َ لَم ُ الْقَوْم ْت ی َٔرَّا ْ ُ وَلـٰکِن َتَبَصَّر ی ْ َ لَم ُ الْقَوْم ْت ی َٔرَّا ْ وَلـٰکِن I could not be content with an embarrassing silence; But, I have seen that people are not willing to reflect on this. ٍ ُ کَخَافِت َ أَقُوْل اْل ُ جَھْر ًا أُخَاطِب ٍ ُ کَخَافِت َ أَقُوْل اْل ُ جَھْر ًا ُأُخَاطِب أُخْبَر َ و ِ أُوْحٰی َ الرَّحْمٰن ْ مِن ُفَإِنِّي أُخْبَر َ و ِ أُوْحٰی َ الرَّحْمٰن ْ مِن فَإِنِّي I address people openly, I do not call them secretly, For I am granted revelation from the Gracious God and given the glad tiding. اللَّظٰی َ َ و َاك ی ِ إِ ْن ی َ َ الْحَسْن عَابِد َا ی أَ اللَّظٰی َ َ و َاك ی ِ إِ ْن ی َ َ الْحَسْن عَابِد َا ی ُأَ تَشْعُر َ َ و ْر ی ِ ُ السَّع َ تَخْتَار مَالَك َ ُو تَشْعُر َ َ و ْر ی ِ ُ السَّع َ تَخْتَار مَالَك َ و O one who worships Husain and Hasan! Protect yourself from the fire of Hell; What has gone wrong with you that you opt for Hell while you know about it? أَنْت َ امْرَء ٌ مِّن ْ أَھْل ِ سَب ٍّ وَّإِنَّنَا َ و أَنْت َ امْرَء ٌ مِّن ْ أَھْل ِ سَب ٍّ وَّإِنَّنَا َ ُو ِ نُؤْمَر ِ الْحَقَائِق ِإ ِظْھَار اْل ٌ ُرِجَال ِ نُؤْمَر ِ الْحَقَائِق ِإ ِظْھَار اْل ٌ رِجَال You are a person who hurls abuse, While I am from among those who are commanded to make man- ifest the verities. ْ ْنِکُم ی إِن َّ السَّب َّ مِن ْ سُنْن ِ دِ َ سَبَبْت َ و ْ ْنِکُم ی إِن َّ السَّب َّ مِن ْ سُنْن ِ دِ َ ُسَبَبْت َ و ر یَّ َتُغ َّ اْل ٌ ٍ سُنَّة ِّ أُنَاس ُلِکُل ر یَّ َتُغ َّ اْل ٌ ٍ سُنَّة ِّ أُنَاس لِکُل You hurl abuse, and to vituperate is in your nature; All people have their own nature, which does not change. تَرٰی سُقْم َ نَفْسِي ْ مَا تَرٰی آي َ رَبِّنَا ُتَرٰی سُقْم َ نَفْسِي ْ مَا تَرٰی آي َ رَبِّنَا ِ أَعْوَر ْن ی ُ الْعَ قِد ٌ فَا َ غُوْل نَّك َ ُکَأ ِ أَعْوَر ْن ی ُ الْعَ قِد ٌ فَا َ غُوْل نَّك َ کَأ You see the flaws in me, but you do not see the Signs of our Lord, As if you are a one-eyed monster with no insight. ْ مَا أَفْلَح َ الْعُمْرَان ِ مِن ْ ضَرْب ِ لَعْنِکُم َ و ْ مَا أَفْلَح َ الْعُمْرَان ِ مِن ْ ضَرْب ِ لَعْنِکُم َ ُو أَجْدَر َ ُفَمِثْلِي ْ لِھٰذَا اللَّعْن ِ أَحْرٰی و أَجْدَر َ فَمِثْلِي ْ لِھٰذَا اللَّعْن ِ أَحْرٰی و You did not spare even Ab u Bakr and Umar from your curses; So, a person like me is more deserving of such curses.
