140 وبحمےب اقلےئ ابندش رگ وتکمےب �ی�ار زند از د وج�ی� If he cannot meet the beloved, Then, at the least, he desires a letter from the beloved. آرام ان�ی�دش دآلرام ےب الکبم ےہگ رظن ش � ی � رَبو ہگ He cannot rest without the beloved, Sometimes he looks at the face of the beloved, while at others he listens to the words of the beloved. آہکن داری ہب دل تبحم او ان�ی�دت ربص زج ہب تبحص او If you really love someone with all your heart, You cannot have patience without meeting that beloved. ادتف اافتق رگ او رفتق در نت و اجن ِ وت رفاق ادتف If, perchance, you are separated from the beloved, You feel your soul departing from your body. دوتل از رجہ او ابکب وشد رُپ آب وشد ش � خ � ت ف� تمشچ از ر Your heart burns in the pangs of separation; Your eyes start shedding tears on the departure of the beloved. ن روےئ آ ن امجل و آ ابز وچن وکےئ در ِ دومشچ ب ص�ی� خ � دش Then all of a sudden that beauty, that face, Appears before both of your eyes in an alley. زین ونجبن ش �َ خ م�َ دتس در دا ہک ز اند�ی�دتن دمل دش وخن You seize and cling to the robe of the beloved in the madness of your love, Saying, ‘My heart bled from not seeing you. ’
