25. Christian belief involves; and from the havoc done by the mischief of this belief my life is in great torture of the mind. For, indeed, what else can be more painful for a man of discernment than this that he should see a frail human being made into a God, and one created from a handful of dust turned into the Lord and Creator of the worlds.
