Response to the booklet entitled Ilh a m i Girgit 85 Muhammad Mu st af a s as , to imbibe the divine attributes becomes, to some extent, a manifestation of God. That is why the saints of old not only claimed to be manifestations of God, and even went further to say: ُّ اَنَا الْحَق i. e. I am the Truth. We have already quoted one such example previously so there is no point in discussing this further. Suffice to say that Maulaw i Abul Bashir Irfani does not have any understanding of these paths of cognition; so how can he understand the divine spirituality? How can he comprehend that when a devotee travels along the path of love and devotion to Allah, he sometimes reaches a point where he starts to say: ُّ اَنَا الْحَق [I am the Truth], م نم دخا ی م نم دخا ی نم دخا [I am God, I am God, I am God], ِ هللا لَیْس َ فِي ْ جُبَّـتِي ْ سِوَی [Inside my garments there is nothing but Allah]. Since Maulaw i Sahib is knowledgeable only in the art of deception and of concealing the truth, we do not expect him to understand these sublime matters. But he should, at least, learn from history what type of people issued edicts of apostacy, and persecuted these godly persons even to the point of death. Like Offspring Maulaw i Sahib quotes two of Hadrat Mirza Sahib’s revelations: انت مني بمزلة ِ ولدي دي ل انت مني بمنزلة او Meaning that: You are to me at the station of a son; you are to me at the station of my offspring.
