80 Maulaw i Sahib also writes: Similarly, on page 40 and 67 of Tu h fah Golarhwiyyah it is written that the miracles of the Holy Prophet s as num- bered 3,000. And in Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya, part 5, p. 56, he counts his own miracles as reaching one million. Maulaw i Sahib then gives these two excerpts the heading, ‘I am superior to the Holy Prophet s as. ’ Maulaw i Sahib is so benighted that he cannot see whom he is attacking. In reality, he is criticizing a hadith of the Holy Prophet s as. All learned people know it was the Holy Prophet s as , not Hadrat Mirza Sahib, who made the prophecy of the eclipse of the sun and the moon in the month of Ramadan. They also know that the moon eclipsed at the time of the Holy Prophet s as. And Mirza Sahib mentions this to prove the truthfulness of the Holy Prophet s as. No Ahmadi scholar has ever used this proph- ecy to argue for Hadrat Mirza Sahib’s superiority over the Holy Prophet s as. But this Maulaw i Sahib is impudent and ignorant. In the past fourteen hundred years no one ever stated that the two eclipses prophesied for the Mahdi gave him any superiority over the Holy Prophet s as , who only witnessed one eclipse. If this is not a twisted mentality, then what is? He ostensibly attacks Hadrat Mirza Sahib, while he is attacking the religious principles which are authenticated by the Holy Prophet s as himself ! The prophecy about the sun and the moon eclipsing in the month of Ramadan had been widely accepted by scholars long before the birth of Hadrat Mirza Sahib.
