Response to the booklet entitled Ilh a m i Girgit 79 corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. (Matthew 21:33–44) This prophecy is about our Lord and Master Muhammad Mu st af a s as. Such parables are meant to show God’s succour, His Majesty and His Grandeur. But according to Maulaw i Sahib, this is highly objectionable and unlawful, and anyone who says so is a liar (God forbid). The Supreme Prophet Hadrat Muhammad Mu st af a s as Maulaw i Sahib translates the following couplet, له خسف القمر المنير وان ّ لي أتنكر المشرقان القمران غسا which is from one of Hadrat Mirza Sahib’s Arabic poems, as follows: For him was shown the sign of lunar eclipse and for me of lunar and solar both. Would you still deny me? ( I‘j a z- e-Ahmad i , Appendix- Nuz u lul-Mas ih , Ru ha n i Khaz a ’in, vol. 19, p. 183)
