It is akin to accusing the pious Muslims, whose beliefs are given below, of apostasy and infidelity. As an example, Sh a h Wali yy ull a h Mu h addith Dehlav i writes: َزْعُم ُ الْعَامَّۃ ُ اِنَّہ ٗ اِذَا نَزَل َ فِی ي َ ْن َ ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص و ي ِّد ِ الْمُرْسَلِ ي َ ْہ ِ اَنْوَار ُ س ي َّنْعَكِس َ فِ ي ْ ٌ حُق َّ لَہ ٗ اَن ُو َ شَرْح ٌ لِلِْسْم ِ الْجَامِع ِ الْمُحَمَّدِی ِّ و َ نُسْخَۃ ه ْ َان َ وَاحِدًا مِّن َ الُْمَّۃِ. ك ََّ بَل ک ِ ِالَْرْض مَّۃ ُْ ْن َ اَحَد ٍ مِّن َ ال ي َ مُنَسَّخَۃ ٌ مِّنْہ ُ فَشَتَّان َ بَیْنَہ ٗ و َ ب The future Mahdi has the right to be the reflection of the light of the Chief of Prophets. People generally believe that when the Promised One arrives in this world his sta- tus will be that of a common member of the Ummah. This is not the case. He will be an exposition of all attributes of Muhammad s as and a true copy of him. Hence there is a big difference between him and an ordinary follower.
