66 (2) The second name is Ahmad, and this name is found in the New Testament, which is the beneficent law as can be seen from the verse 1 ُ رًا بِرَسُول ٍ يَأْتِي مِن ْ بَعْدِي اسْمُه ُ أَحْمَد ِّ وَمُبَش. Our Prophet was the comprehensive personality which exuded both Jal a l (majesty) and Jam a l (beauty). ( Arba'in, No. 4, Ru ha n i Khaz a ’in, vol. 17, p. 443) Maulaw i Sahib has certainly read the book Arba'in very care- fully and many of its sentences are the targets of his criticisms. He quotes them liberally in his pamphlet. Therefore, without a doubt, Maulaw i Sahib is deliberately trying to deceive the average Muslim and he wilfully conceals the truth. Mercy for the Universe Maulaw i Sahib raises objections against the revelation: َو ۤاَم َكٰنْلَسْرَا اَّلِا ًةَمْحَر َنْيِمَلٰعْلِّل We have sent you in order to show mercy for the universe. 2 Now could Maulaw i Sahib please tell us: Will the Messiah and Mahd i whom he awaits be a blessing or a curse? To us it is plain 1. And giving glad tidings of a Messenger who will come after me. His name will be Ahmad ( S u rah a s - S aff, 61:7). 2.
