Response to the booklet entitled Ilh a m i Girgit 63 I saw in a dream eleven stars and the sun and the moon, I saw them making obeisance to me. ( Sūrah Yūsuf, v12:5) Had there been a person like Maulaw i Abul Bashir at the time of Joseph as, one shudders to think what taunts he would have lev- elled at Joseph as. He may have accused him of making a claim of divinity! But this was a vision and it was fulfilled when the eleven brothers and parents of Joseph as were brought into his protection. Sūrah Yūsuf, verse 101 gives the complete details. Thus, visions have to be interpreted. And according to the renowned experts of interpretation of dreams and visions, H ajr-e-Aswad means a scholar, a jurist, and a person of great knowledge. This interpretation perfectly fits Hadrat Mirza Sahib. In pre- vious chapters we have already presented the opinions of Hadrat Maul a n a Abul-Kal a m A z a d, Mirz a Hairat Dehlav i and Ha fi z N u r Muhammad Naqshbandi Chisht i. Now we will quote the most vehement opponent of Hadrat Mirza Sahib, the famed leader of Ahl-e-Hadith Maulaw i Muhammad H usain Bat a lawi, who in a manner of speaking is an elder of Maulaw i Abul Bash i r. His tes- timony will prove that the vision means that Hadrat Mirza Sahib was a scholar without equal, a great jurist and a man of noble intellect and great wisdom.
