And, in contrast, who can say that the Chiefs of the Quraish, the possessors of pomp and splendour, the powerful and mighty, who rejected these clear Signs, were truly alive even though they had physical life? So these are the weapons of life and death given to the Chief of Prophets s as and his slaves are also recipients of the same. Mirza Sahib was one such slave. Maulaw i Sahib! We fear that even when you understand the truth you will still reject it. So let us step into your shoes for a while. You and your followers proudly proclaim that Prophet Jesus as revived the dead. You also believe that the same Jesus will one day return to this earth. So the Messiah whom you await has the power of bringing about life and death. You also cannot reject that our Lord and Master, Hadrat Muhammad Mu st af a s as , said the following about the Messiah: فَل َ يَحِل ُّ لِكَافر ٍ يَجِد ُ مِن ْ رِيْح ِ نَفَسِه ِ إِل َّ مَاتَ. The Messiah will destroy all the k a firs within his reach. ( Mishk a tul-Ma sa b ih vol. 2, p. 296, Kit a bul-Fitan, ch. al-‘Al a m a ti Baina Yadas-S a ‘ati wa Dhikr-id-Dajj al , Hadith 5475, D a rul-Kutubil-Ilmiyyah, Beirut, 2002) So not only do you accept that the Messiah has the power to bring about life and death, but it is also part of your fundamental beliefs. So to what are you objecting? Maulana Sahib! The power that Hadrat Mirza Sahib claimed to possess was:
