I have a subtle affinity with ‘Al i and al- H usain, the truth of which is only known to the Lord of the East and the West. In fact, I cherish a deep love for ‘Al i and his sons. I am an enemy of who- ever is his enemy, but at the same time, I am not of the unjust and the prejudiced. It is not possible for me to turn away from that which Allah has revealed to me, and I am not of the transgressors. If you do not accept this, then for me are my deeds and for you are your deeds. Allah will judge between you and me; verily He is the Wisest of Judges.
