AL- QA AL- QA SI SI DAH DAH 115 رًا ِّ ِ مُبَش ِ الرِّیَاض َ لِتَنۡضِیۡر وَجَآء ٭ ِ ر ِّ ٍ وَّمُبَش ر ِّ ُّ مُنَض دَر ِّٰ فَلِل He came as a bearer of good news to let the verdant lands flourish. May Allah reward him for all of this. 1 ٍ خُطَّۃ ِّ ۡ کُل ُ فِی ُالۡفَارُوۡق ُ الۡفَارُوۡق ِوَشَابَهہ ر ِّ ِ الۡمُدَب کَالۡمَلِیۡك َ الۡبَرَایَا وَسَاس He possessed every quality of al-F a r u q, Ruling the people like a masterful king. ٌ َص ٍ فَظَھَرَت ۡ عِزَّۃ ال ۡ ِسَعٰی سَعۡی َ اِخ ِ فَانۡظُر َفَۃ ال ٌ لِلۡخِ ٌ عَظِیۡم وَشَأۡن He ruled the people with such sincerity that The institution of Khil a fah acquired great respect and dig- nity; so reflect over this. ٍ ِوَصَبَّغ َ وَجۡہ َ الَۡرۡض ِ مِن ۡ قَتۡل ِ کَفۡرَۃ ر ِّ ِ الۡمُتَشَم ۡ عَزۡمِہ مِن فَیَاعَجَبًا He turned the face of the earth red with the blood of the infidels. How awestruck am I by the strength of his fortitude! ِ ۡ وَقۡتِہ ٌ فِی ً کَوۡکَب َ ذُکَاء ِوَصَار ِ الۡمُتَطَھِّر ُ وَلِوَقۡتِہ لَّہ ًا ه فَوَا He became like the sun in his time; How amazing was he and his time! ٍ مَعۡرِك ِّ ِوَبَارَی مُلُوك َ الۡکُفۡر ِ فِی ۡ کُل ر ِّ ٍ مُّتَکَب َّ مُبَارِز َ کُل ۡلَك ه وَاَ He challenged the kings of disbelief in every battle And destroyed every arrogant challenger. 1. ٭ See footnote given by the author on pages 133–144.
