At the time when the struggle between us and the Paighamees was at its height, I once wrote to a number of the religions leaders of other communities-Christian Bishops, Sikh Gianees, Hindu Pundits and Jewish Scribes-asking them how their Scriptures described and defined a Nabee. From some of these, however, I got no reply at all, while some replied that in their religious literature there was no. specific teaching bearing on the point, this being also the answer returned by a well known Bishop.
