Two very enlightening statements 9 written by the Head of our Community and sent to Mr. Gandhi through his personal representative Pandit Sundar Lal and the third through Rai Bahadur Mukand Lal Puri are attached for your perusal as also an affidavit by Ch. Aziz Ahmad describing how Sir Mohammad Zafrullah Khan’s house at Qadian was looted. Evidence of one Hindu, one Sikh and one Christian (out of a total of 14) to the effect that an attack on Qadian did take place. Originals (in Urdu) preserved and may be shown to well-meaning responsible leaders. Statement of………. . (Hindu) resident of Qadian At the time of the attack made by Sikhs on Mohalla Darul-Futooh and Mohalla Darul-Rahmat, Qadian I was in my house. When I heard about the abduction of the daughters of and others (all Muslims) I was grieved and worried, for we too have daughters.
