AN ODE by Maulawi Abdullah of Kashmir آنکه در ہر مظہرے شد حسن رویش آشکار حمد بیحد مر جناب حضرت پروردگار All praise belongs to our Lord, the Cherisher and Sustainer, The beauty of whose face shines forth in everything. بر مظاهر از صفات خویشتن پر تو فگند تکمیل وجود ما بروئے روز گار بہر He made His attributes manifest in things of nature For the perfection of our existence in the world. حسب حاجت داد ما را جمله سامان بیشمار در وجود او در بقاهم در قیام زندگی To ensure our existence, survival, and subsistence, He has provided all necessary means that are countless. هرچه می بایست مارا بہر جسم و نیز جاں خود مہیا کرد از رحمت پا ما کردگار Everything essential for our body and life, The Lord has provided us out of His mercy.
