They asked the companion, “ Do you not wish that ( Ḥ a ḍ rat) Mu ḥ ammad would have been in your place at this moment and that you were sitting in peace with your wife and children? ” He said, “You ask if I want Ḥ a ḍ rat Muḥammad , may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to be here and I want to be with my wife and children in Medina, but I do not even desire that I would be sitting in my home and he be pricked by a thorn while walking in the streets of Medina. ” Now observe that the companion forgot his pain at that time, but being filled with the love and compassion for the Holy Prophet, the perceived pain of the Holy Prophet made him restless. .
