Part II – My Life as a Muslim 47 cap because it remedied his migraines, which would return when the cap was taken off. After telling me this story, the Second Khal ī fah ra gave me his old kulah (a. k. a. kulla) , the cap around which the turban cloth is wrapped. A piece of a shirt of the Promised Messiah as was sewn into it by the hands of the Khal ī fah’s wife, Umm - e-N as ir, the mother of the Third Khal ī fah, Hadrat Mirz a N as ir Ahmad rta. I attribute many of the personal miracles in my life to this cap and it is my most prized possession to this day. I keep it in a glass showcase 14. 14 Brother Rashid has high regard for this kulah. He keeps it in an enclosed glass display case and does not let anyone else wear it. [Writer]
