I found an individual who was interested in buying the building and I began to engage the lawyer the previous missionary had utilized for tax exemption qualification. We arranged the sale of the property for $2,800 and the funds were deposited in the St. Louis Jam ā ‘ah’s account. If I correctly recall, this money was later used to buy the land upon which the present-day St. Louis mission house is located.
