39 Similarly he would also refer to the Abyssinian governor of that area as: ِ رَقِیْق ٌ مِّن ْ مَّال ِ اللّٰه “A servant of the wealth of Allah. ” 37 This demonstrates that he would use this term himself as well. Furthermore, the fact that he could not help but uttering this phrase again and again testifies to the fact that this was a general figure of speech among the companions. However, Hadrat Ab u Dharr ra forgot this due to the deception of Ibnus- Saud a ’. This disorder, which is best described as a Bolshevik conflict, could not succeed in Syria due to the strategic planning of Hadrat Mu‘ a wiyah ra. Nevertheless, in different forms, this view managed to spread in other regions and served as an aid in the work of Ibnus-Saud a ’. Ibnus-Saud a ’ left from Syria and arrived in Egypt. This was the place that chose to make the centre of his scheme because it was very far from the capital. Secondly, the companions did not visit it as often as other areas. For this reason, the local people were comparatively less familiar with religion and more willing to take part in conflict. The deputy of Ibnus-Saud a ’, who was a resident of Kufah and shall be mentioned later on, was exiled a short period after these events. When asked, in reply to the enquiry of Hadrat Mu‘ a wiyah ra as to the state of the members of this new party in different countries, he said: 37.
