Epilogue By the Grace of God, I have now come to the end of the discussion on the logical arguments for the existence of God. As I mentioned in the beginning, these arguments can only lead man to the point where he realises that there ought to be a Creator and Master of this universe. But no matter how perfect and clear this belief may be, it is weaker and inferior to the belief that there is a God. The former is no more than a strong conjecture and a clear pointer, whereas the latter amounts to definite observation as if man has actually seen God and is left with no doubts and misgivings. The arguments for the latter kind of belief will be discussed, God will- ing, in the second part of the book. It will be shown how God, the Hidden and the One Beyond of Beyond, reveals Himself through the Prophets and Auliy a ’ and how these divines, through the mir- acles of His eternal knowledge and power, bring God close to the people’s view as if He has descended on earth and is standing amidst His people.
