xi PREFACE TO THE SECOND EDITION The first English Edition of was published in 1946. Its Turkish translation was first printed in 1959. It was revised and reprinted in 1968. The author, the late Hadrat Mirz a Bash i rudd i n Ma h m u d Ahmad , Khalifatul Masih II (May God be pleased with him) has discussed the same theme in another booklet also, entitled, The Economic Structure of Islamic Society.
