A fter reciting tashahhud , ta‘awwudh, and S u rah al-F a ti h ah, H u du r rta recited the following verses of the Holy Qur’an: 1 1. But who could do greater wrong than one who forges the lie against Allah while he is called to Islam? Allah guides not the wrongdoing people. They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it. He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it. ( al- S aff , 61:8–10)
