24. SHEER KHURMA (Special). Recipe:. Ingredients:. Vermicelli 4oz. Milk 4 pintas. Dairy cream 1 tin. Sugar 8 oz. Keora (Essence) 2 oz. Almond nuts 2 oz. Pistachio nuts 2 oz. Coconut grated 2 oz. Dried dates. Raisins 6 (only) 2 oz. Leave almonds and pistachio nuts in cold water at least for an hour before cooking. Peel almonds and make thin slices. Similarly cut pistachio nuts into thin pieces. . Pour milk in a pan, add vermicelli and 2/3 of the nuts. Cook on medium heat for about one hour. Add the tin of cream and cook for another 15 minutes. Then add sugar and stir for one minute. . Add Keora and allow to cool. Sprinkle the rest of nuts over it for decoration. Serve cold or chilled.
