CHAPTER 26 The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa 's Love for his own Offspring and other Children 652 to lead the prayer and we were all standing behind him. That child stayed on H u du r sa 's shoulder. He started the S al a t with Takbir and we followed him. While bowing in Ruk u ‘ , H u du r sa placed the child on the ground and after Ruk u ‘ and Sajdah , he picked her up again and placed her on his shoulder. He continued S al a t in the same manner till the end (of the S al a t). 14 Four daughters from Hadrat Khad i jah ra were the ones who lived longer among the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa 's children. In order of seniority they were, Hadrat Zainab ra , Hadrat Ruqayyah ra , Hadrat Umme Kulth u m ra and Hadrat F at imah-tuz-Zahr a ’ ra. Hadrat Khad i jah ra had male children as well. Their names were Q a sim ra , Ta hir ra , Tayyib ra and ‘Abdull a h. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa was called Abul Q a sim because of his son Q a sim. Hadrat M a riah Qib t iyyah gave birth to Ibr a h i m, who passed away in 9 th Hijrah at the age of sixteen months. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa treated all his children with extreme love and affection. He discharged his duty of excellent training and upbringing.
