Muhammad sa The Perfect Man 547 was of an advanced age and this child was very dear to him. He was placed in the house of Ab u Saif ra for suckling. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa used to visit him. He would pick up his dear son, embrace him and showed great affection to him. With the knowledge given to him by God, the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa said about the capabilities of his son, "Had he stayed alive, he would have been a true Prophet. " 17 At the time of his death, the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa showed great patience. He bowed his head to the decree of God, Who was immensely dearer to him than his son Ibr a h i m and said, ْ ُْ اَﻟ ْ ﻌَني ْﺗَﺪ ْ ﻣَﻊ ُ وَاﻟ ْ ﻘَﻠ ْ ﺐ ُ ﻳَﻬ ْ ﺰُن ُ وَﻻَﻧَﻘُﻮ ِ ل ُ اِﻻ َّ مبَِﺎﻳَﺮ َ ﺑÒ ٖ ﻪ ْ رَﺑُّﻨَﺎ ْ وَاِﻧَّﺎ َٰ ﻓِﺮَاﻗِکَ ﻳَﺎاِﺑ ْ ﺮَاﻫِﻴ ْ ﻢُ ملََﺤ ْ ﺰُو َ ﻧُﻮ ن "The eye sheds tears and heart is grieving, but I would never utter a word against the will of God. O Ibr a h i m, we are grieving sorely at your departure. " 18 Hadrat Ab u Um a mah ra relates, "When the dead body of H u du r sa 's daughter, Umme Kulth u m ra was placed in the grave, H u du r sa recited this verse, ْ ْ ﻣِﻨ ﺧَﻠَﻘ ْ ﻬَﺎ ْﻨَﺎ کُﻢ وَ ﻓِﻴ ُﻬَﺎ ْ ﻧ ْ ﻌِﻴ ْﺪُ کُﻢ ُْ وَ ﻣِﻨ خن ْ ﻬَﺎ ﺮ ِ ﺟُکُﻢ َ ﺗَﺎ ً ر ْة اُﺧ ﺮٰی (20:56) "From it We have created you, and into it shall We cause you to return and from it shall We bring you forth once more. "
