Muhammad sa The Perfect Man 155 by God and in the year 9 th Hijrah, the people of Ta ’if came to Mad i nah and accepted Islam. 34 4. Chief of a Yemen tribe Daus, T ufail ra bin ‘Amr accepted Islam and requested the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa for permission to go back to his people and invite them to Islam. He requested the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa to pray to God to manifest a sign of His approval. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa prayed for the sign. This prayer was accepted in a way that God made Hadrat T ufail ra a person whose prayers were accepted. Hadrat T ufail ra says, "When I returned to my people, a light appeared on my forehead. I prayed to God, "O All a h, seeing this light my people may think that my face is disfigured, so make this sign to appear somewhere else. " So the light appeared at the end of the whip I was carrying. When I entered the city the people witnessed this light at the end of my whip. Hadrat T ufail ra 's father, wife and other relatives saw this sign, understood the wisdom of his message and accepted Islam, but his people did not believe. When Hadrat T ufail ra returned to Makkah, he requested H u du r sa to pray against his tribe. H u du r sa raised his hands and prayed to God for the guidance of Daus tribe and to bring its members to Makkah. He advised Hadrat T ufail ra to go back and invite his people to Islam with kindness and wisdom. As a result of this prayer God blessed his efforts and members of this
