Muhammad sa The Perfect Man 665 came forward, H u du r sa made him step back and gave the milk to H usain. Hadrat F at imah ra enquired if he ( H usain) was dearer to him. H u du r sa replied, "No, he was the one who asked for the milk first. " 48 In another tradition it is related that Hasan had asked for the milk first and H usain started to cry as he wanted it first. H u du r sa gave the milk to H asan first and on enquiry from Hadrat F at imah ra , if he was dearer to him, H u du r sa replied, "Both are equally dear to me. " 49 Hadrat Ab u Bakr ra relates that when Hadrat H asan used to climb up on the back of H u du r sa while he was in prostration, he would lift him off very gently so that he would not fall down. The Companions enquired, "O Messenger of God, you treat H asan so lovingly that you do not treat anyone one else like this. " The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa said, "He is my fragrance from the world. This son of mine is a leader, who would make peace between two parties. " In another tradition it is stated that H u du r sa was in prostration when H asan came and sat on his back. H u du r sa did not remove him and stayed in prostration until H asan himself decided to get down. 50 God granted a son to the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa from his wife M a riah Qib t iyyah ra. He named the child Ibr a h i m after the name of his own ancestor. He was even younger than
