Muhammad sa The Perfect Man 269 A Wedding Gift The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa never turned away a beggar empty handed and used to give whatever he could afford. Hadrat Ab u Hurairah ra relates that once a person came to the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa and told him, "O Messenger of God, I am arranging my daughter's wedding and I wish that you give me something". The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa replied that he did not have anything to give at that time and advised him to come the next day with on open top glass bottle and branch of a tree. H u du r sa told him the time when he should come. The indication of the appointed time would be that one part of his door would be open. The next day that person arrived with both the things. The Holy Prophet Muhammad sa collected the perspiration from his arms into the bottle until it was full. Then he told the man, "Take this to your daughter and tell her that whenever she wants to wear perfume, she should dip the branch of the tree into the bottle and use the liquid as perfume".
