2. T. The Holy Quran and the First House of Worship. The very first house ever built for the remembrance and worship of Allah is known as Baitul Haram (Masjid-eharam, Ka'aba tullah, etc. ). This house has been known to mankind since time immemorial. It was renovated under. Divine Guidance by the elite prophets Hazrat Ibrahimas and his son, Hazrat Ismailas. The Holy Qur'an has attributed several blessed names to this Holy Place, including: "Bait-eMa'amoor", "Saqaful Mafoo", "Sha'airillah", "Baitul Ateeq", etc. . The following are verses where this first house of worship has been mentioned. . . ومَا لَهُم الا يُعَذِّبَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَا كَانُوا أَوْلِيَاءَةُ إِنْ أَوْلِيَاؤُة إلَّا الْمُتَّقُونَ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ) "And what excuse have they now that Allah should not punish them, when they hinder men from the Sacred Mosque, and they are not its true guardians? Its true guardians are only those who are righteous, but most of them know not. " (8:35) وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةُ لِلنَّاسِ وَآمَنَّا وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِمَ مُصَلَّةً وَعَهِدْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِم واسمعيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلظَّابِفِينَ وَالْعَكِفِينَ والربع السجود وإذ بوانا لا بُرهِيمَ مَكَانَ الْبَيْتِ أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكْ في شَيْئًا وَطَهَرُ بَيْتِيَ لِلظَّابِفِينَ وَالْقَاسِمِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ "And remember the time when We made the House a resort for mankind and a place of security; and take ye the station of. Abraham as a place of Prayer. And We commanded Abraham and Ishmael, saying, 'Purify My House for those who perform the circuit and those who remain therein for devotion and those who fall prostrate in Prayer. " (2:126) "And remember the time when We assigned to Abraham the site of the House and said, 'Associate not anything with Me, and keep My House clean for those who perform the circuits, and those who stand up and those who bow down and fall prostrate in Prayer. " (22:27) وَ مِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَإِنَّهُ لَلْحَقِّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ ذلِكَ ، وَمَن يُعْظِمْ شَعَائِرَ اللهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ثُمَّ مَحتُهَا إلى البيت العتيق "From wheresoever thou comest forth, turn thy face towards the Sacred Mosque; for that is indeed the truth from thy Lord. . And Allah is not unmindful of what you do. " (2:150) اِن اَوَلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَةٌ مُبَرَكَا وَهُدًى لِلْعَلَمِينَ "The first House founded for mankind is that at (Mecca), abounding in blessings and guidance for all peoples. " (3:97) فيه أيت بَيِّنْتُ فَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيمَةً وَمَن دَخَلَهُ كَانَ أمِنَّا وَلِلهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ العلمين اِلَيْهِ سَبيلا، وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللهَ عَن عَن أ "That is so. And whoso respects the sacred Signs of Allah— that indeed proceeds from the righteousness of hearts. In them (offerings) are benefits for you for an appointed term, then their place of sacrifice is at the Ancient House. " (22:3334) الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقِّ إِلَّا أَن يَقُولُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ وَلَوْ لَا دَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لَهُدِمَتْ صَوَامِعُ وَبِيَعٌ وَصَلوتٌ وَ مَسْجِدُ يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُ اللَّهِ كَثِيراً وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ الله مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيز "In it are manifest Signs; it is the place of Abraham; and whoso enters it, enters peace. And pilgrimage to the House is a duty which means—those who can find a way thither owe to Allah. . And whoever disbelieves, let him remember that Allah is surely independent of all creatures. " (3:98) أولَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَانُ قَوْمٍ اَن صَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَنْ تَعْتَدُوا "And let not the enmity of a people, that they hindered you from the Sacred Mosque, incite you to transgress. " (5:3) جعَلَ اللهُ الكَعْبَةَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ فِيمَا لِلنَّاسِ وَ الشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَالْهَدْيَ وَالْقَلَابِل "Allah has made the Ka'ba, the inviolable House, as a means. of support and uplift for mankind, as also the Sacred Month and the offerings and animals with collars. " (5:98) "Those who have been driven out from their homes unjustly only because they said, 'Our Lord is Allah'-And if Allah did not repel some men by means of others, there would surely have been pulled down cloisters and churches and synagogues and mosques, wherein the name of Allah if oft commemorated. . And Allah will surely help one who helps Him. Allah is indeed. Powerful, Mighty. " (22:41) هُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُ وَكُمْ عَنِ السّجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْهَدْيَ مَعْكُونَا أَن تَبْلُغَ مَجلَة "It is they who disbelieved and hindered you from the Sacred. Mosque and the offering which was prevented from reaching its place of sacrifice. " (48:26) والْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُورِ وَالسَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوع "By the frequented House, and by the elevated roof.
