On the other side, the Christians opposed him by all the fair and unfair means in their power; they left no stone unturned in their effort to defeat and humiliate him; but God gave him victory in every field against all these enemies, and he passed away away from this world crowned with laurels ; and his followers today are striving day and night to carry the banner of Islam to the four corners of the world, with Christianity on the retreat everywhere, 89
