suffice for the Promised Messiah alone. But that day Nawab Mohammad Ali Khan (a son-in-law of the Promised Messiah), who lived nearby, happened to arrive, with his wife and children. The Promised Messiah told me that they should all be given the meal. . I sought to explain that the rice especially were only a very small quantity, whereat he came where the pillao was lying, and he 'breathed' on the vessel containing the rice, and said, "Serve the meal now. ". Hazrat Ammajan told me that this small quantity of pillao then became invested with the marvellous quality that all present on the occasion to share the meal partook of it, after which some were sent to Hazrat Maulvi.
