Hazrat Mirza ghulam AHmAD 66 with me in terms of penning a response to the Urdu essay and the Arabic qa si dah, his disgrace will soon be established. Since Maulaw i Muhammad Husain has lavished much praise on Sa’ i n Mehr ‘Al i of Golra for his scholarship, and since ‘Al i Ha ’ir i , who is a Shiite, is also unable to control his joy over the praise showered on himself, I therefore also invite them for a compe - tition with me. Their tongues are quite skilled when it comes to hurling abuse and mocking me; however, this time around I hope to see how much help they will be granted by God. I have also spoken about these people to some extent in my qa si dah, so that I may stir their sense of honour. This is going to be the final battle, so the Shiite should seek help from Husain, and Golarhi from some of his own elders. As for Maulaw i Sanaullah and his associ - ates, they already like to be called by the title of maulaw i. In short, all these people are free to do their level best in this regard. What I have written in the qa si dah about Imam Husain, may Allah be pleased with him, or about Hadrat ‘ I s a [ Jesus], peace be upon him, is not based on human understanding. Evil indeed is he who speaks foul of God’s perfect and righteous servants based on his own selfish notions. I believe firmly that no one can sur - vive even for a night after having spoken impertinently about such righteous people like H usain and Hadrat ‘ I s a. Instead, according to the wa‘ i d 1 مَن ْ عَادَا وَلیًّا لِي [He who is at enmity with a friend of Mine ] such a person is quickly seized. Therefore, blessed is the one who recognizes the wisdom 1.
