Hazrat Mirza ghulam AHmAD 160 َات ِ قَد ْ مَر َّ ذِکْرُھَا ی آ ن َ ال ِّ م 1 ْ ِن ی وَکَاْ ُ ْ تُزَوِّر قُلْتُم َ ْ و ْ فَأَعْرَضْتُم ْتُم ی رَأَ Many a Sign there is that I have mentioned; You witnessed these Signs yet you denied them and accused me of falsehood. ٌ ْلَة ی ِ حِ َ التَّجَارِب بَعْد َّ لَنَا فَعَن ُ َ تَشْعُر ي ْآ ال بِهَا َ أَشْعَارًا ْتُب ك َ لِن Hence, after so many experiences, I eventually found, A reason to write these few verses which may apprise you of the Signs. ْت ُ مِن ْ فَاطِر ِ السَّمَا ی ِ ك فَھٰذَا ھُو َ التَّبْ ِّرُوْا ك َ ْ فَف ُ مِنِّي َ الْإ ِفْحَام ھُو وَھٰذَا God, therefore, intends to seal your mouth through this; And, for my part, I wish to clinch my argument against you in this manner. ْ ُم ك أَثَارَت ْ سَنَابِك َ طِرْفِنَا نَقْع َ فَوْجِ ُ َتَبَخْتَر ی لِّلْوَغٰی ٍّ ْ کَمِي ْ مِن فَھَل The hoofs of my horses destroyed you; Is there among you a cavalry-man who would come out to confront me? ٍ ْ بِتَقَاعُس َتِي ی َ آ ُ عَظَمَة أَتُثْبِت ُ لِّتُحَقِّر سَاعِیًا ا ًّ َ مُد ْ جِئْت قَد َ و Or will you now retreat and thus prove my Sign to be a cate - gorical one? You had rushed to Mudh, so as to ridicule me. 1. The word ن ی ْ َا ک [ ka’yin ] has been used the way ِّن ی َأَ ک [ ka’ayyin —i. e. many] is used in the Arabic lexicon Lis a nul-‘Arab. (Author)
