151 َاثَرُوْا ك َْر ِ ف ی َثِ ك ْ ِذْب ِ ال ك ْ مَنَعْنَا مِن َ ال ُ َرِّر ك ُّی ٌ ِ کِذْب ِ الْمَرْء ُّ خِصَال شَر َ و I stopped them from uttering so many lies. As a result, they became even more frequent in telling lies; The worst trait of man is to go on repeating falsehood. ِ ِ وَالْقَلْم نَامِل َ ْأ ِّال ٌ ل ْل ی َ َ فَو کَتَبْت ُ تَهْذُر َ َ و َنَام ْأ ال ٌ تُغْوِي َد ی ْ تَبَّت َ و You have written your book and I pity the fingers that have written it; Ruined is he who misleads the people and utters absurdities. ْ ِ حُصِّلَت لِلرِّسَالَة َ الْفَرَاغَة ْف ی کَ َ و ُ َ تَزْمُر أَنْت ٌ وَّمَا ُ طَنْبُوْر َك ی ْ أَلَم How is it that you had time to write this book? Were tambourines and other musical instruments no longer available to you? نَّهَا َٔ کَا ْھَا ی ِ فِ ِذْب ك ْ َ ال ُ رِجْز أُوَانِس ُ ُ تَقْذُر ْن ی َ الْع َ ُ و َنْت ی قَد ْ عَا َ ٌ و ْف ی ِ کَن I see the filth of falsehood in the aforesaid book, as if it is a privy; I saw it and my eyes detested it. ٍ ْقَة ی ِف ِّ ْ کُل َّ عَن ُّ الشَّر َّسُح ی ٌ زَمَان ُ َ وَصَرْصَر ُنَاس الْأ ٌ أَرْدَی زَلْزَلَة َ و This is an age that is causing clouds filled with the water of mischief to discharge its toxins at intervals; Or it can be likened to an earthquake that has destroyed the people while the wind is fierce and blowing fast.
